National Patient Safety Award

Goal:
To recognize patient safety innovations that improve the health and safety of the Healthcare system.
2020 Award Will Have A Special Focus on Patient Safety Efforts During Covid-19.
Submissions are open for participants from inside and outside of Saudi Arabia.

Eligibility
:
You are eligible if you are in one of the following categories:
Healthcare organizations and professional societies and associations
Health Care Professional
Community Leaders and Organizations
Judging
Criteria:
Nominations will be evaluated based on their:
Topic Alignment: 10%-clear project rationale, supported with evidence and strategy link to patient safety theme.
Impact:40%- Demonstrate the outcome and scope of the initiative.
Spread and Sustainability:15% -Ability to sustain achievements over time and the potential of the project to be adopted by other organizations, individuals, and communities.
Value and Innovation: 20% - Fresh, creative approach to advancing patient safety.
Engagement: 15%- Degree to which patients and families were involved in care design and other key stakeholders.
Eligibility Timeframe:
Projects should be within the last 5 years and no more (Inclusive of the current year).
Submission Deadline
:
Saturday, December 12, 2020
Supporting Materials:
Accepted nominations may be requested to supply additional supporting materials if requested by the Judging Committee.
Notification of Finalists:
The finalists will be notified towards mid of February 2021
.
Award Presentation:
The award recipients (one representative from organization, team or the individual) will be honored at a recognition ceremony that will be announced later. Award finalists are encouraged to attend the recognition ceremony.
