The Saudi Patient Safety Center launches the fourth international conference

Under the patronage and presence of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Emir of the Qassim region. The Saudi Patient Safety Center, in cooperation with Health Affairs in the Qassim region, launched the Fourth International Patient Safety Conference on December 2, 2023 AD under the slogan “From Awareness to Implementation: Empowering Patients and Health Practitioners for Safer Health Care.” ​ The Fourth International Patient Safety Conference was launched with workshops and lectures. With the participation of a number of experts and participants in the field of patient safety, the conference aimed to work on enhancing patient safety concepts, improving the quality of health care, and reducing potential risks. Coinciding with the inauguration of the conference, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Saudi Patient Safety Center, the General Directorate of Health Affairs in the Qassim Region, the University Medical City in the Qassim Region, the Public Health Authority “Weqaya” and the Qassim Health Cluster. With the aim of exchanging experiences and consultations and striving towards achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in enhancing the quality of health services and patient safety.”
