Believing in the principle of transparency in sharing this data, for example but not limited to: encouraging comprehensive development and innovation, supporting scientific research, and supporting decision-making, the Saudi Patient Safety Center has activated electronic participation channels to receive requests from beneficiaries of open data.

Open Format and Machine Readability
Open data is made available and provided in a machine-readable format; where it is saved in widely-used file formats such as: CSV, XLS, JSON, or XML.
Data Currency
The latest version of open Datasets is published regularly and made available to everyone as soon as they are available.
Comprehensiveness
Open datasets must be comprehensive and include as much detail as possible, and the recorded data must be displayed in a way that does not conflict with the personal data protection policy. Raw data must also be included along with interpretations or formulas that explain how the data was extracted or calculated.

Datasets must be made available to everyone without discrimination and without the need for registration. Any person can access the published open data at any time without the need to verify identity or provide a justification for access to it.
