1st SPSC and GHC "Patient Safety Officer" Workshop

The Saudi Patient Safety Center (SPSC) in collaboration with the Gulf Health Council (GHC) will be conducting an exclusive workshop online entitled “Patient Safety Officer (PSO)” with the participation of 22 health professionals from the ministries of health within the Gulf Cooperation Council states: United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia over 3-days starting from June 21,2020 and ending on June 23, 2020.
The Patient Safety Officers Training Program is a comprehensive program that targets all healthcare providers and will provide the participants with the following:
-Context, key principles, and competencies associated with the discipline of patient safety.
-History of the patient safety movement.
-Describe the science and disciplines used in patient safety.
-Current best practices and strategies for overcoming barriers to safe care.
-The program will also include key resources and a pre and post quizzes to test the participants on the content and against the stated learning objectives.
