Patient safety convoy begins its visits to hospitals for definition of empowerment concept.

SPSC has started to introduce patients the concept of empowerment, which is considered one of the priorities of the Center, that is specialized of individual's ownership of the treatment plan, and decision-making regarding health care through a virtual convoy of volunteers to increase awareness of patient safety through Empowering, educating and supporting them to improve their health, which targeted more than 200 patients.
The information included the importance of involving patients by motivating and encouraging them to ask medical staff, whether in emergency, outpatient or hypnotherapy, about the concerns they have during their treatment trip, the options available for treatment and what they should ask about before leaving the hospital.
The campaign also addressed the importance of asking patients and accompanying patients about the approval of the treatment, and the patient's right to know the detailed information about the medical procedure taken, as well as the right to take another medical opinion.
