SPSC signed memorandom of understanding with Family Affairs Council

Saudi Patient Safety Center (SPSC) and Family Affairs Council has signed a memorandum of understanding which aimed at spreading health awareness as well as raising the level of patient safety through targeted media content for Saudi family members, in line with the objectives of the National Transition Program and Saudi Vision 2030 which made man the center of development.
The signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of Family Affairs Council at the presence of the SPSC director General Dr. Abdul Ilah Bin Mohammed Al-Husawi & the Secretary General of the Council, Dr. Hala Bint Mazid Al-Tuwaijri, The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding comes as a result of the integration of exerted efforts to increase community awareness about the health safety of family members in addition to development of the life style which enhances the family's status and achieve its stability as well as enables it to play its role in building an ideal society that enjoys stability and family well-being and harmonize with the ambitious vision of the Kingdom of 2030.
The memorandum of understanding includes the agreement to prepare a media content that is prepared scientifically and medically in sound way. It will be published through the official media platforms of the parties to the agreement, which positively reflect on the target groups and achieve the goals of the two parties which related to family safety in all its components.
SPSC 's director General expressed his happiness about the cooperation and the importance of its positive impact on the community, In sha Allah, explaining that the support of human rights culture at the health field in the community starting with the family, is one of the most important factors that will help improve the safety of patients at the national level, he has pointed out that the family is the main building block of the society, and the empowerment of the community begins by empowering its members. Therefore, the cooperation with the Family Affairs Council, which oversees the services provided to the family in all its components, especially children, women & the elderly, will be an important factor for improving the patients safety in the Kingdom.
For her part, the Secretary-General of the Family Affairs Council confirmed during the signing ceremony, that the safety of the family is one of the priorities of the Council, which is the objectives that two sides has focused on in the scope of their work. and the cooperation will have the greatest impact, In sha Allah, to raise the level of health awareness in the family, whether at the level of its members of children and elderly, Or family-level health services such as family medicine & other outreach services to the Patient Safety Center to achieve the best standards for patient safety and health awareness.
